Students love to learn about the Stars, Planets and Space Exploration. Science Fiction is one of the most popular genres in film and literature. In this Session Darcy and Ian will share ideas, tools, and resources for infusing Astronomy through various curricula. You'll also find Astronomy resources specifically designed for Grades 6 and 9 as well as ways to use Astronomy to teach Physics 20 and 30. Darcy and Ian will also share there experiences teaching Astronomy 15 along with the potential for further Astronomy engagement with students.
