Music has always been a powerful force at the heart of Québécois culture, and the modern scene includes some wonderfully creative individuals and groups. This session will go beyond ‘Mon Pays’ to explore an array of popular songs that present a gold mine of linguistic possibilities in the language classroom. The session will include songs from artists such as Isabelle Boulay, Gregory Charles, Coeur de Pirate, Vincent Vallières and Fred Pellerin, as well as from groups such as Mes aieux, Les colocs, Le vent du nord and Gallant tu perds ton temps.
